LA FURA DELS BAUS
Metamorphosis, Franz Kafka

La Fura dels Baus, the pioneering street theatre and spectacle company, has developed its own, distinct performance idiom (“furero”) in a theatre that engages the senses and features creative audience participation.
The performance includes video, electronic music, and sounds natural and otherwise.

The famous Berlin choreographer, Sasha Waltz, presents the first part of her somatic trilogy in a co-production with the Schaubühne.

The Les Arts Florissants orchestra and choir are conducted by William Christie.
Featuring the Centre Chorégraphique National de Créteil et Val-de-Marne, and the Montalvo-Hervieu company.
The amazing Paladins have already bewitched audiences of all ages in France, London and Shanghai.
The work is based on Duplat de Monticourt’s libretto, which was inspired by La Fontaine. A comic-ballet, the work will carry you away with its complex plot, set in Mediaeval Venice, and with its music.

The snow queen

This spectacular, poetic version of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale comes to us from Bari, Italy, and that city’s famous Kismet Theatre company. Scripted and directed by Teresa Ludovico, the production was staged to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Danish writer.

Sleeping Beauty

This ‘alternative’ reading of “Sleeping Beauty” is being prepared by Xenia Kalogeropoulou and Thomas Moschopoulos, and brings together different versions of the fairytale by Charles Perrault, the Brothers Grimm and Giambattista Basile. It will be directed by Thomas Moschopoulos.

Dejan Dukovski was born in Sopia in 1969. He has written plays and screenplays for the cinema and the television. Other Side is essentially the third part of a trilogy (The Balkans are not dead – Powder keg) dealing with the Balkans in the wake of war and with the fate of man.
